I’m a month early for the autumnal equinox, yet here I am - discovering three missed messages from you and wondering how you are doing. Wishing you well, still and always.

I trust that you're taking good care of yourself, and of those you love, dear girl. I would be greatly saddened to learn of your distress.

Happy solstice, ready. Tis the holiest night of the year, after all. "Dies natalis solis invicti," the Roman claimed. Hope your has been joyful.

Solis, Solis, Solis - you’re still here! Hello from afar. I hope your 2019 is off to a beautiful start.

A solstice like no other impends. My son enters a new chapter in his life (college student) and so, by extension, will I. Quantum physicists tell us the flow of time is an illusion and the future touches the past, yet this particular stream seems to be flowing ineluctably in a single direction. I hope the river of your life has been dappled and drowsy, though perhaps not quite yet ready for sleep.

Not to say that it's been two blue moons since you last graced us with your ethereal presence, but really. (waves)

The equinox celebrates balance ... but it lastly only one moment before the eccentric spin resumes. And yet, we do more than endure. We rejoice. In part, you're a source of such joy.

Now the winter solstice is right around the corner. And since “Visits should be short, like a winter’s day”, I’ll keep this visit brief. Wishing you all good things, always.
