Deep in the forest
The labyrinth of my mind
Lays peaceful existence
Elusive to find

Contrite the soul wanders
In sorrow and pain
Mistakes unforgiving
Joy unattained

In the breath of a whisper
The universe turns
Entreat the Gods’ pardon
For words so unsure

Desecrate not
The grail of the collar
For within its hallowed hollow
Sacred peace is assured
