    Word magnet poetry

I don't usually (ever?) write poetry, but I enjoy it. My old roomate had some of those nifty word magnets for the fridge that you change around to produce a variety of poetry, and I came up with one that I kind of liked (I added punctuation). Please ignore the disjointed lack of adverbs and structure; you know how those word magnets never have enough of the right words...

I walk softly beneath the snowy moon
a quiet dream of happy promise playing across the stars.
Like beautiful poetry, it shines down on
a cold universe, with music and light
    through every morning...
    Here I remember love.

Comments for a first-time poetry writer?

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
