My dog. (An early Chalfont)

Chalfont is a barely-recognised talent. Which is, in my opinion, a great pity.

Graciously (which sums up the man well) he has given me permission to post an early effort. You will clearly see his budding genius:


I was given, for my birthday,
a dog.
Which was a pity.

I hankered for a small black cat.
So I called my spaniel
"Kitty"


It is worth noting that his dog lived a long and fruitful life. It was, however, deeply confused and was responsible for the "Black month of the furball" incident which is best left buried deep in the archives of memory.
