Puddles

A verdant lagoon
Of violet liquid tears
Life flows in the water
The liquid smells of Eternity
And vanilla musk.

Love is the Rider
Loping by the pool
The lady of hope
Riding her destiny
Past my heart’s desire.

I swim the pool
Smiling all the while
The Alien chick
Sinks
And rises as the jungle
Of brown curls
And wiggling brows
A giggling scream
Bursts from the jungle
depths

The cinnamon snow falls
On mountain peaks as I climb
Breathy gasps and geysers of
Wet heat bubble forth

And still I climb and
Find my way to lay
Claim to the blue
Green and violet
Organza clouds.

As we meet on that peak
The clouds wrap around you
Binding you and I together
As the sun
Rises
Anew.
