Seeing the handy character worksheets and so forth in the Level 1 forum reminded me of this piece of software I found a while back. I've had a bit of a look at the website, but haven't tried it out yet.

It aims to help you organise your characters and scenes and so forth as you flesh out your story. I was wondering if anyone else has tried it out or has any opinions about such tools.

If you like bringing pictures into your writing to buttress your flights of imagination (though not including them in the finished story) this could be worth checking out. It's free, and you can use any pics you like, photos, drawings or sketches of a situation, and then add some text around it to organize persons and storylines: nin pictures w/ text to a page.If you print out some pages and have one with people.one with locations and a few more with key episodes it should be helpful - and it's a piece of cake to chang around (you cn only view one page on screen at one time, though)

It would be useful too, if you plan doing animated movie shorts with bdsm content.

Thanks for noticing, Nikita. It could still be working in Windows XP without being updated, many programs with a firm build will run no probs under many versions of an OS (such as Windows) without any padding - but the only way to find out is to test it. If it needs DOS as a ground it won't run in xp for sure; Windows 2000 was the last to include the old bedrock software of DOS and that helped neck off some older programs when xp arrived (many interactive cd-roms will refuse to run in xp and Vista machines for that reason).


(ten minutes later) I tried downloading it to test in xp, but the file is not available any longer - deleted. Sorry?!

Well, better make another google search for storyboarding freeware software or the like, that's how I found this no longer existent program.

This might be a good freebie alternative, and it was updated as recently as January 2007. By sheer coincidence, the guy lives in the same city as I do.

I have already worked with "Anthemion Storylines" in an older free version, which is now included in writers cafe as the main tool.
For short stories it might be a bit overloaded, but it is indeed a big deal if you want to develope longer plots.
