How far is too far?

When I my girlfriend hinted that she liked to be bound about six months ago I wondered how far she really wanted to go. I have asked her about boundaries but she just says “you haven’t hit it yet”. We do have a “stop” word that she has yet to use and I advance carefully and slowly to new forms of discipline. I know this is a personal preference to many subs but I would like to hear some opinions from sub and dom’s as to how far is too far.

One of the things you might do is have both of you fill out a hard limits questionaire. There is one in another thread:Check here or you can search for one on the web.

Besides giving you both something to talk about, it will help to figure out what is a yes, no, maybe before you cross a line you didn't know was there.

Excellent list...we went through it last night, it was fun and gave us some ideas we had not yet considered. Certainly highlighted some hard NO areas.

Exactly. It opens new vistas... but also one realizes there are whole area of play that some people enjoy which others will say is way over the line of "too far."

It has to be a purely personal choice between the participants... and rarely, if ever, will you find an activity that is off limits to everyone or one that is acceptable to everyone...
