New sub in need of instruction, Hey every one!

*shy wave* Hello every one. I'm still relatively new to BDSM but I've done a lot of reading and I think that this stuff makes a lot of sense to me. I remember that when I was young I liked to tie up my barbies, claiming that they were captured by some sort of horrible bad guy that did "things" to them. Sometimes they were even "forced" to have sex with each other. I also remember playing Wizard of Oz with my friends and getting a strange satisfaction out of being Toto and having to crawl around acting like someones pet. In relationships I never like being in control I'm always so much happier with someone telling me what to do. And my favorite sexual encounters have always involved a pair of handcuffs or rope (but alas I've had very few of those). It was when I first saw the movie 'Fear.com' that I realized that I was really into bondage. There were scenes of some poor girl being restrained and tortured, and I was always so disappointed when they switched to a different scene. I guess that's just when it really kicked me in the butt. I've always had friends that were into BDSM or at least just some light bondage, and while I was intrigued and turned-on by the ideas I was far too shy and at the time innocent to ever really try. I did however become more or less the group pet, earning the nick name Kitty.

Today I've gotten a little bolder and would like to start acting on some of my fantasies. I'm seeing a wonderful guy and we've been together for close to 3 years but unfortunately he's very vanilla. He isn't disgusted by BDSM or anything, and I've shown him what I've found and told him a few things I'd like to try but he just doesn't seem to be all that into it. Which brings me to why I joined this forum. I came here to meet the people who live and love the BDSM Lifestyle, to get some ideas, and to hopefully figure a way to get my 'nilla man into BDSM. I can't wait to start meeting people and I'm hopeful that I can make some friends, and learn a lot. Peace out to y'all!
