Consumed, I gaze into your eyes
Summers sun to budding flowers
Yearning, your caress my drug of choice
Butterfly steps upon fragrant petals
Soothing, your touch feeds the addict in me

My being throbs, your beauty devours
Hearts pounding and pulses racing,
Sugar coated desires and lustful joys
In rapture I taste the colour of your voice,
As it echoes warmly throughout my mind

Headlong I fall, stepping into your smile
Lost to the world, I have eyes only for you
Completed, our souls as one, entwined
Exquisite the pain, your wonder so clear
Darkness no more, in your light I am held

My reason for being, life’s purpose clear
