Try mixing a VERY small amount of corn flour or agar agar with water perhaps? A word of warning though - I mean a VERY small amount. If you want a whiter colour, then use skim milk, NOT more flour because it can thicken with heat (keep in mind that it's nearly 40 degrees inside your body).
