Hello to you all.

By way of introductions. As you can see by the nick, I run on most of the chat boards, IRC, and other messenger services as TheDeSade or some small variant thereof.

I am a 52 year old Dominant male from Texas. I have been married to my wife/submissive for almost 30 years. We have been active in the BDSM lifestyle for that whole time.

I am semi-retired. The semi part is a small consulting business that allows me to keep an active hand in my field of expertise. I spend the rest of my time woodworking, sailing, writing, and, of course, pursueing my interest in BDSM.

I also lecture at the local university as adjunct faculty in the college of business. (I hold and MBA in human resource management)

I am a published author (not in the erotic/adult genre') and I am glad to find this site. I believe that the internet is the best thing that has happened to literature and writing since the inventing of the printing press. Now anyone has the oppportunity to showcase their talent or their interest. I applaud the owners of this site for giving everyone who has an interest a platform on which to present their work.

In the next few weeks, I will be pulling out some of my own erotic work, polishing it up, editting it a bit, and publishing it here. I do look forward to your comments and criticisms. I do take them seriously and you can look for me to edit and re-write my work as I get these comments, suggestions and criticisms.

I haven't looked at all the areas of the site, but I hope that I can find a place to also publish a bit of my erotic poetry. I have a pretty good book and would like to share it a bit, get some feed back, before I start approaching print publishers looking for an opportunity to take it to print.

That was a very lovely introduction. Speaking of chat, our chat room is a great way to get to know people here, though I feel as if I know you already. welcome to thr forums, sounds like you'll fit in very well here! There are lots of places to post and get feedback on your work. If you want lots of feedback, I'd suggest posting in the critic's circle forum as well as the library -- can get a couple of nicely in-depth analyses there.

What a clear snapshot of you. to forums and I hope we live up to your expectations. As I mentioned elsewhere you might seriously consider joining writers' block, although you obviously already have sound writing skills I would be surprised if you did not find the higher levels worthwhile.

Welcome to the forums. After reading your intro I am pleased to see your interest in writing. I am the instructor or Level 1 at Writer's Block and sheepish is my assistant. She, will be giving you, your first assignment. From your intro I can see level one will be trival...only because you have to go through the steps. The upper levels will be more challenging and inspiring. Enjoy them and the forums. Welcome again.
