    Bug Report

The other day I typed a reply in uppercase, probably an LMAO or the like and noticed that it parsed into mixed upper and lower case.

Today I used a smiley for the grins... : & D and the D is parsing to lowercase and the smiley doesn't show.

I remember seeing a number of others attemping certain smilies that don't display and wonder if that's the same problem.

    Let me know.

    thx

Hah!! Just the smiley or possibly when it's the first line or only item. Am I not the best User Acceptance Tester you've ever seen?

Does it name the worm? Look at the incident report from Norton, it should tell you what it was. If you could provide the name I could tell you if it is site related, or local to your PC.

I have seen it and as far as the worm ---I run Norton too and I get not report of a worm ---virus are caused by attachements that are opened --just loging on a site will not give you a virus ---it may give you adware or spyware---it is according to how your adware software read it --as some read all cookies as adware ---

As far as the parsing ---that is not a bug it is done to prevent shouting and is set that way

Then you need to modify some of the smilies.... Any with caps following the colon.

    It's baaaaaaack.

the : D smiley is broken again... been a year since it was fixed me-thinks.... but put the colon and capital D together and the parser fixes the 'double capitalization error'

On the fear of having yet another "Rabbit only" problem I will look at it on Thursday, Friday at the latest, when my schedule clears up a bit. Sorry... can't do it sooner!

OK... changed the cap to lower case d so now to get you need to do a : d

    Hope that fixes it!
