Issue getting chat to start.

I'm not sure if I have a setting wrong in IE or what.
But, I am having trouble getting chat to start.
Sometimes, it starts right up after coming into the forum section.
Other times, I have to post a message before the chat will work
and other times, just entering forum going to chat and back to forum and back to chat will get it to work.

Could I have some setting in IE set incorrectly ?

When logging into the site, did you check the box labeled "Remember Me"?

Yes.. so everytime I come into the forums the forums show me already logged in.

The chat room is operated using Java. Do you know what version of Java you are using?

If you don't try updating your version of Java. To do this goto www.java.com and download then install the application. If you have the current version of java already installed, it will tell you as much.

i went and checked and was 1 level down from current, ran the update to get the latest and greatest version and updates and still have the same issue.
I don't think it is a java issue.
I think I got some setting that is interfering with the cookie that 'remembers' that you are actually logged into the system.
