If only to comprehend the
range and intensity of emotions
battering my senses.
My whole evolution has exploded,
spitting minute shards of memory
like shattering glass
ripping me apart every time
I dare to acknowledge time.
Confusion, in it's way,
is peace in comparison to
this pummeling storm
lashing at my weakening defenses.
Soon, I'll be bare, naked
and alone, with not even
my memories to make me feel alive.
Soon, I'll be that little girl
with no where to hide,
nothing to love
and no one to run to

curses to this black raging hold of fevered venom,
hissing hatred and spitting froths of seething poison.
curses to the ever agonizing pit
of molten screams of erupting terror,
severing body and spirit
spiraling uncontrollably into a
boiling cauldron of heaving nightmares.
curses to that naive young girl
propped in a cold, bereft corner
with puppeteer strings
and wooden eyes,
rendered emotionless
so that she might scantily survive
in this embroiled hell of cursed emotions

echoes (yes I STILL havn't gone to bed! too late now...) I havn't really taken in hell, but I do feel the stripping and whittling away to that inner place with no defenses left... Cursed brings this out even more strongly, and I wonder, is this the form that you were telling me about (and I deleted the PM, sorry, can you send it again?).

'scantily survive' - yet again you find a joining of words that works magic.

no this is not the form i was telling you about earlier. that was for a sestina. this is free verse...sorry for the confusion...this pretty much explains how i feel now.
