How do I give a name
to a feeling. . .

to a knowledge. . .

never before experienced.

the feeling that
the air has been taken
and
replaced with the
purest of bliss
that I now inhale and infuse
into the vessel
of His pleasure

the feeling that
golden light has
replaced the
blood
that once flowed through
veins, arteries and capillaries—
spilling itself into
surrounding tissues
giving a glow to
the humblest of objects—
a coffee cup, a pad of paper,
a bold linked copper chain around a right wrist

the inevitability of knowledge
that comes from the deepest trenches of the soul—
the place where there are no lies

the knowledge that a
subtle
yet magnificent
transformation
is taking place
in my
heart
mind
soul
indeed
in the very core of being

how do I give a name

what does the caterpillar
call a butterfly?
