Question Something wrong, but not fatal

I am running Windows XP SP2, connecting to the Net through a cable modem and using Mozilla Firefox to view BDSM Library. In reading the stories, this line appears at the top of the page:

Warning: virtual() [function.virtual]: Unable to include '/cgi-bin/atx/in.cgi?bdsmlibrary.com' - request execution failed in /home/bdsmlibr/public_html/stories/header.php on line 1

Don't know if it's my computer, connection or browser, or if it's got anything to do with this site.

Everybody is receiving that message on their computers. I think it is a server problem.

I wonder if it is just everyone using Mozilla Firefox because I don't see it with IE. Have you tried googling the phrase?

Looking at Dick's post I think I can see what the problem is.....

Someone, somewhere thinks the server is a sub, and quite clearly by its behaviour it is a Dom and will not respond well to such treatment.

    Tiger - please take note!

Happy to support new (& experienced) subs/Doms in any way I can.

I am using XP S2 with IE6 and receiving that message on the main page and on the main story site. Everything is fine on the forum or chat. I hate firefox.

I've been seeing it on IE all night long, but only on the main page and the chat start page.

If it is not interferring with us accessing the pages we want, who cares!

It does seem to interfere when you try to review a story though.

    not fatal

It's a small hangover from the successful move of the site to another server, which took place yesterday. You should notice a great improvement in your ability to get on and stay on the site these days. There are other glitches now being worked, such as in the story submission routine. That one was fixed a few hours ago. Rabbit 1 will be updating everyone shortly on what's what.

We all have to be patient as everything will hopefully be back to normal.

I had forgotten about this, as I have been using Opera more to browse these pages lately, and it has never been anything like that when viewing with this. It may also be that it was a "library-wide" phenomenon that was obvious to some configurations and that it is now fixed by the governing officials of this site.
    Bye, bye Johnny bye bye.
It's not your fault that you die.
I can't help it, I got to ask the reason why
You good old Johnny did die
noone knows, so many of your friends cry
there's no meaning why you should say bye bye

    Return: Bye Bye Johnny

That's the ticket Rabbit. Those particular adds work differently and aren't, apparently, executable within Mozilla. LOL
