I am becoming seduced by the endless, creative possibilities that come with artistic rope bondage. My problem is getting beyond simple knots and applications. I've checked out many instructional diagrams from books and online websites. I have difficulty translating these instructions to the actual task. My thought is that I may be better served with step by step video tutorial. Are there any videos out there that might be appropriate for individuals who are knot-tying-impaired?

I believe if you do a google search for Nawa Shibari, you will find at least one link for videos on the first page or two. Sorry, i don't remember the link.

I do remember them being quite pricy, though. Something like $49.99 a tape.

If you have the Japanese text support installed on your computer and can read Japanese, the actual Asian-run sites and vids are probably the best.

Also there is a yahoo group called adultropeart that has links to rope orgs in Massachussets that offer courses in that.
