    Talking Funny thing...

A total of four people have emailed me feedback for my f/f bdsm story. Three want to chat with me, and one is even requesting to be trained by me! Guess what these three all have in common?

I would say they are all dick-heads, but when I do post things like that I get verbally spanked for not being sensitive to the failings of others. So I will just say that they (all three) were so impressed with the quality of Your writing, that the power of You and Your story telling swept them away in some sort of Zen state of Euphoria and made them profess their undying devotion to You and Your powerful persona, as articulated in Your story.
    Am I close?
    I do love guessing games.

p.s. I still think they are all DH's thinking with their little heads.

Lol! The thing is, all three are men - but the story is pure women-on-woman. I think the 4th email, which basically just said something like "great story, I hope there'll be a part 2" was probably from a woman.

Men are strange creatures sometimes. That's all I can say.

yeah.... it turns out they all did have DH in common. figures
on the bright side - they were impressed with your story
Maybe they know what I know, that the true way to a man’s heart is six inches of metal between his ribs. Sometimes four inches will do the job, but to be really sure, I like to have six. Funny how phallic objects are always more useful the bigger they are. Anyone who tells you size doesn’t matter has been seeing too many small knives. LKH Narcissus in Chains

Yeah. I swear to god, I don't know what men are thinking sometimes.

I have a theory about this, though:

It seems that when men's mouths open, their brains stop working.
It also seems that when men's penises get hard, their brains stop working.
I guess if a man tried to talk and have an erection at the same time, he'd lapse into a coma.

Not to me, but my stories (so far) have been all M/f. Also, I get confused for a male a lot.

So, I have been invited to join male Dom groups before. I was really tempted. :[

I do get requests for stories with specific themes. But I really don't want to write about teenage blondes with DD breasts and 18 inch waists.

TG, I guess that's why it's refered to as mindless screwing!

I've only had a couple of e-mails from guys... most of my feedback is from the female readers! I wonder why...

    Well.........

I've never written anything specifically f on f

And I've only shared with close friends.

So, not yet. Still trying to screw up the courage to post anything publicly.

So let me get this straight. You are complaining because you got reviews or because you got emailed or pm'd.

How about a link to the story. I promise not to email you or PM you but I might wright a review and simply ask for more. Chances are good I may have already done it.
Ok, Guilty I am a guy I like lesbian DS. Does that make me insensitive, I do not think so. I don't go around bothering any one with unsolicited PM's or Emails. I only will pm if I am pm,d first .

It was rather obvious they were males. What's surprising is your surprise. F/F stories always have been a big hit with gentlemen. Sade's preferred character is Juliette, an unrepentant dyke! And as a female, I like the occasional M/M story (if the setting and writing are right, which is excedingly unfrequent.)

You are under no obligation to enter into a pen-pal relationship with all or even one of your online fans! On the other hand, if you want your work to be popular, their feedback can be precious. That's completely up to you.

    Mobi, dear, and Jeanne,

The complaint was not about the reviews or the e-mails per say (pagan switch please correct me if I am wrong) but about the fact that pagan switch writes about F/f and gets offers from Male readers. My (and it is quite possible that is it totally misguided) opinion is that people write about the things that they find drawn to – so … if one is writing explicitly F/f than the chances are that writer is not interested in opposite sex! I believe that is what surprised author – expressing interest in females, yet getting inquiries from males.

That was well understood from the start, yet that surprise shows quite some naivety. F/f is a staple of the industry (so to speak) and many male writers are quite good at it! (I guess some readers here recall Mr Ed's 'Pooch' and other steamy books). More to the point, it is appreciated by most male readers! So the assumption that only females would respond is really naive. Where it becomes weird is when a male reader requests 'training' from a F/f writer (whatever his/her gender) but stranger things happen.

I remember writing in appreciation (no more!) to the writer of a well done M/M tale which had got me wet-dreaming, and he was quite gracious about it.

YES! I haven't written a single F/m story. None. Not one. All have been F/f. The feedback in the review form seems to be mixed enough and nice. But the e-mails I get have ALL been from men asking if the Dommes in my stories are real and if so how can they contact them. It's so odd.

Apparently Carol Queen has the same problem. She mentioned that a lot of people wrote her about the Domina character (Georgia Strong, I think) in The Leather Daddy and the Femme.
