Timing

The posts I am currently making are showing up in weird places on the threads. I make a post and it goes in front of previous posts, plus all the timing seems to be off. Etither everyone is posting in the last minute or so, or the threads are not showing anything in the hour range.

I had the same problem with a thread. i thought it was my system... or my mind. Glad to know it probably wasn't either issue!

I just updated the server time, not sure if that was causing it but let me know if it happens again.

Edit: I also got the wait 30 seconds error. Obviously the problems with these forms continue still.

I'm still getting the order of posts crankd up, and even Tiger's post seems to have jalanded in mid-thread. Hey, in fact much of the trouble that was around ten hours ago with the timing/logging system still seem to be around.

So, will we be able to get the threads ordered correctly at some point? I don't know if it is affecting every thread, but seems to be quite a few in general talk. And should we hold off on posting anything new in those that are clearly affected? Or perhaps make sure to include a time stamp so it can be placed correctly at a later date?

the boards are still iffy and posts are being placed all over the shop. also with errorr messages as well

It's like GMT but some special thing for USA. Not sure what the point is. The rest of the world seem to be content with GMT.

-see also the thread just below "Time monitoring failure".It turns out many people (myself included) had these problems, Redhead and lion among others. Seem to be gone now, but the local time showing (top right of any page) is still strange, so it could be it's not quite solved.

This thread seem like I am traveling in a time warp.

My posts from yesterday are appearing after the posts I am making today. This makes absolutely no sense to me at all. I know how computers work and the only thing that could wack it off this bad is either a virus, o5r someone activly playing with the post order.

Seems like the post timing is somewhat fixed, but only for current posts since the fix.

I think the server time was screwed up and causing the problems. I fixed the server time I'm hoping that will take care of future problems but I don't think there is anyway to fix the threads that were already made with errors.
