    Exclamation Tips need for...

    waxing.

Ok, i know lots of baring the nether region threads are out there, but after some time perusing, i couldn't find any tips on SELF waxing.

I tried Nair, doesnt work. I tried shaving.. but I can't keep it bare, it takes at least 4 days before it isnt painful to shave. Not only that but i cant stand those 4 days of itchyness.
Yet, my b/f insists on it being bare. And since he returns the favor, i dont mind.. i just... grrr need help here lol.

I tried waxing, i've got a 'sugar waxing kit' and it doesnt work half bad. I tried it, but it leaves half the hair there, and it takes 4 more excruciating tries to get the last part. So, out of curiosity, i tried my legs, and it works great there. So i think im just doing something wrong........

any interesting tips and tricks??? im going nuts here.

    thanks,
    Teni

ps.. i also tried tweezing, but working and running a house just doesnt leave me enough hours to tweeze all of it, or i would, cuz its the most effective one i've tried yet.

Well the only way I come close to being successful is with a Mach 3 razor, a hot shower, and much much patience. I can only do it about 2-3 times a week (at most) because of the time involved. I am, ahem, rather fleshy so there's a good bit to maneuver around. Plus I'm pretty well blind so it's mostly done by touch.

The one thing I can tell you that helps is to keep the area you're shaving as taut as possible while you're shaving it ...... if you end up going the shaving route. If I do that, and use a good shaving cream (hair conditioner works remarkably well -- I always seem to have some extra on my hands after I do my hair anyway) and a little TLC when I'm done, I minimize the discomfort and the razor burn.

    Venus

works well for me, I love it, I think it is the woman's version to the Mach III, and I also found the same with hair conditioner, and all those wasted can's of cream, I digress,, sorry

I also seem to have the same problem with seeing, so i need to shave blind also. what I do is place a towel on my bed, and do it there, it takes all of about 15 mintues, and gets the job done. When I get to old to really see, at least I will have a nice bare pussy. LOL no gray there,

But, there was a time when I had help, if your b/f likes it that way, maybe he can lend a helping hand and turn it into a fun thing. It is so,, mmm, so delicious to be exposed and have him between your legs, making sure there is nothing left but flesh. That way it will be to his liking, and perhaps ease the pain with enough conditioner to make you nice and smooth.

Also if you have the money from what i understand you can get a professional wax that last a long time, or even laser, that i guess will eventually make it permanent for you.

    Well my 2 cents

Fram a Dom's standpoint, I'd like to add some words of encouragement. I insist on a sub's shaving or having a hairless nether region. I understand it is not easy to accomplish or maintain, so I always offered to help if I found hair. I would tie the sub down and use some tweezers to extract the offending hair. I was amazed how this offer was never voluntarily taken up. I usually only had to "help" them once or twice before they managed to keep the area smooth and hairless.

Best of luck with your challenge.

and aeneas... i wish he'd offer that?? id let him! lol. the only reason i dont do tweezing myself is the time and crinking of neck involved.

    Hi Teni,

Ask the boyfriend anyway. If he wants it bare, he can help. Nothing BDSM about that.

Warning for Wax: If you do it right and it rips the hair out by the root, you can get little whiteheads in that area for a few days. The area is trying to heal. If you use some type of aftershave lotion or gel right way, you can minimize this affect. When you first start waxing it lasts about 2 weeks before you have to wax again, then later up to 4 weeks. BIG issue - if you want to grow the hair back in the future, think twice about waxing. It will thin the hair and for some, stop it from growing back completely.

About shaving: If you have a bath-tub. A nice hot back for about 15 minutes relaxes the hair. Take the razor and shave under water - the hair is standing up - and this leaves a smoother, longer lasting shave.

Good luck with getting time special assistance,

    Ruby

Not your Dom? Vanilla? Pffft, not vanilla enough to not care about You being smooth tho huh?! LOL

Joking aside tho, i agree with Ruby, if he's that concerned about it and you struggle with it on your own, then he'll just have to help!

The only upside of not living with my Dom is that i don't have to shave AS frequently as i would do, although i have to say, i would never shave every day, it's not good for the skin and it would only encourage hair growth. It takes quite a few days to actually be able to 'see' any hair...and as long as it wasn't visually unappealing (and he could still see the marks), i don't see it would be a huge issue.

The only thing i could suggest on a pratical level (other than him helping) is use LOADS of pure aloe after you shave, and i mean loads and i mean pure...it helps the skin heal after shaving SO quickly and it shouldn't hurt as much if you do it again a day or so later.

    Goodluck hun.

I've thought about waxing in that region too but have decided against it. I think it's a lot easier and safer if you just do it at a salon. It's a little pricey (the cheapest one I found is $50), but it lasts for a month.

You have to be extremely careful when you're waxing yourself in that region. It is possible to burn yourself if you're using hot wax. The people at good salons are trained and know what they're doing so the experience is pretty quic,k and the wax they use gets it all off with just one pull.

If you're adamant about waxing yourself, I'd at least go to a salon for the first few months . It will give you time for you hair to grow thinner and would probably make it easier for you to wax yourself. Also, it would give you the opportunity to ask the "stylist" what direction she is pulling for each part, what type of wax she uses, tips, etc. The person who waxes you can also advise you on what to do afterward to make sure you don't get in-grown hairs.

    Hope that helps.

    Shaving

I've been keeping "bare" for about 6 months now by shaving. Here is how I do it. It takes about 10 minutes and is done in "stages."

    EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
Venus razor (swivel head works exceptionally well)
Cheap conditioner (the "under $1 variety)
    Sharp scissors with blunt ends
Personal shaver (those As Seen on TV small personal shavers)
    A mirror

Start by using the scissors to trim any long hairs. I usually grasp the hair, pull down, and use the scissors to trim as close to the skin as possible.

Next, take a long hot bath or shower. This relaxes the hair, as someone else pointed out. Slather the conditioner over the area and use the Venus razor to shave. Don't overdo it, though. Don't press too hard and don't keep going over the area again and again. One or two "swipes" should get the bulk of it off. At this point, you are not trying to get smooth.....yet.

If you are shaving in the shower, dry off and sit in a chair where you can put your feet up on the seat and spread your legs wide. Lean back in the chair and use the mirror to get a good look at things. Use the personal shaver to get the remaining hair off. One important point - DO NOT SHAVE AGAINST THE GRAIN. Shave in the same direction as the hair growth. Otherwise you will get bumps afterwards.

This is the easiest and quickest way I've found to keep it clean! Hope this helps.

    shaving

if you wanted to go the chemical route try nair - i have to leave it on for 10 minutes even though it says max of 8. If you shave with a razor the best cure for preventing the razor bumbs is to disolve an aspirin in a 1/4 cup of water (maybe slightly less water for thicker consistency) and smear on the area a few minutes after - it will soothe the skin and prevent inflamation - good luck - i hope this helps

Yeah, but I put an exemption clause on this one: if it's not too owies!

Maybe I'm just a sucker for punishment?
