Is there a timeline for stories being posted

I read a post that stated that some stories were held back and then posted out in a timeline, so that they did not all appear close together.

I have been reading all the Jane Marwood stories and wondered whether there were more chapters that had not been posted yet. I notice it has been quite a while since some of the stories were updated.

Anyone know of any other quality femdom stories with the style of Jane Marwood or Rick oh?

There is no hold or timeline for story posting. After a story sent by author, it will appear on the site within 2 updates. If a story is rejected, the author will get an email notice. All story updates / new chapters will also be posted without any holding time.

Some authors simply lost interests to continue their stories. That's the only reason I can think of unless they decide not to send any update to this site. If you write an review on this site or send a comment to author, you may get the author to write again

Too short (<10kb), no paragraph (one big blob of text), no punctuation, all captial letters, just name a few. To be honest, I don't set the criteria very high here. I know some readers want to see more restricted approving process or even setup an editorial team to read all stories before posting. I would like to give new, amateur writers a chance to publish their works. And some of them indeed improved their writings after getting some feedback from readers. But there are alway some people don't really take it seriously. So there is always 1 or 2 rejected in almost every update.

I plan on writing some stories and know my first ones most likely won't turnout to be the best piece of work ever written so I appreciate at least getting some exposure for criticism rather than out right rejected for not being writer quality.

I thought the rating system was used for the benefit of the readers to know what is quality and what isn't so I am not sure why people would want it more restricted.

Well, the rating system is voluntary, and stories may not get reviewed, or only by a single person who has an axe to grind. I saw one last night that had five ratings from 8 to 10, and one idiot who gave a 2 with the notation that they didn't like stories on that subject. If the idiot had been the first reviewer, how many other people would've taken the chance on a story with a 2 rating?

The sad truth is that only one in a THOUSAND readers will give even an annonymous rating. It is for that one in a thousand people that I continue to write; nobody likes to write into a silent vaccuum.

Let's face it, most of the readers have no intention to review stories. We can't really blame them for that. I suppose most authors, and probably many other readers, will appreciate some feedback. But I believe a review text will be much useful than a rating number. And to avoid abusing the system, only registered users can review stories.

With all these restrictions (which I think are very necessary), more readers become reluctant to review. But I still insist to get some useful comments than a meaningless rating number.

Jinn, your requirements are truly the bare minimum to review a story. You need to log in - to prevent someone from giving themself 15 votes of 10 to pump up their story (or their ego).
Some amount of text, even just "I liked it." or "More?" to give the author SOMEthing to work from. You can rate a story in a minute or two, but most people don't like to take the time out of their erotic reverie to encourage more of what they like. It's a sad truth.

I am glad you agree with me. Although I (presumbly other readers and authors) would prefer a more constructive comment, yes, even "I really like it" will be better than a plain rating number.
