    A new (relatively) Gor Book?

So there's a 26th Gor book, eh? Don't know how that slipped by me. I'm a huge fan of the series and personally feel it is one of the greatest Sci-Fi creations in terms of detail and effort.
Does anyone know the name (and publisher) of this 26th book? It would surely make the inevitable search a bit easier.
    Thanks!

I've heard that rumor, but I've never actually seen the book or talked to anyone that knows anything about it. So, I'm personally thinking it mught just be a hoax.
    It's in the blood...

You aren't talking about Norman's book "Imaginative Sex", are you? That was comprised of ideas on how to simulate an S&M experience without actually having one. It turns out Norman wasn't very Gorean. Pretty tame, but a bit 'out there' for 20-25 years ago.

Thanks for the info, Tourguide. I was just going on what an earlier poster mentioned. Since then I've done some looking on the web, but have not found any other references to it yet. It's too bad. So much was left unresolved in the series. At least one more "wrap-up" book would be very welcome.

No, I know about "Imaginative Sex" as well as "Ghost Dance", which are both pretty old. I was referring to a supposed 26th book in the Gor series mentioned by one of the first few posters in this thread. Thanks for the tip, though.

I know what you mean about the cover art, some very fond memories there I did re-read one a couple of years ago and although it certainly wasn't a literary classic I did still enjoy it. So wadda you do huh ?

    Time Slave

Another of John Norman's tales was published and called Time Slave. I have a copy together with all the Gor novels, together with Ghost Dance and Imaginative Sex.

By the way, the zip file for 17 Savages of Gor actually contains No 25 Magicians of Gor on the download site

Hi, I think Norman did write some science fiction novels too (3 books??), calling them the Telnar or Tenar Chronicles (or something like that).
Did anybody read them who can tell if they are like his Gor books?

    Gor Novels

I just recently became aware of John Norman's Gor-stories. Actually this happened by the link redEva VERY kindly supplies on her posts. Thank you, redEva

The link leads to a website with several of John Norman's novels (though I can't really tell if they are complete). I've enjoyed these stories tremendously and would like to read on, preferably without spending too much money. This is where the "poor-student" clichee kicks in! In time I'm going to buy these, but just can't afford it right now...

Anyway, my question is, wether anybody knows of another websites with John Norman's novels??

    duetta[/QUOTE]

I have copies of all but the last two volumes of GOR by John Norman (25 and 26, I believe). I will consider selling them for $250 total (plus shipping charges). That is much less than I paid for them on the rare book market. I reside in the Los Angeles area. If anyone is interested, contact me directly.

    Witness of Gor

The book is called "Witness of Gor". You can still get copies from http://www.worldofgor.com/gor.asp, which is John Norman's website. No idea what it's like.
