    In my defense, I said you could explain this better than I could, and you summed up the whole of my position succinctly. Simply assuming that someone is being disrespectful simply because they forget is a bad position because it does not take in all the factors. Plus, IMO, it is disrespecting them. And, yes, subs do deserve respect.

    I don't think anyone is saying subs don't deserve respect. Very simply the views are different on how to handle a situation where a sub forgets and that has many different variables to each person. Each relationship is different and each response will be different... such is life!
