What fond memories are stored within the very air?
How can mere scent evoke your presence, love
How can mere scent awake such longing, to be where
The air is full of you, not just longing and imaginings

I am breathing in the scented air,now made divine
By just the rememberance of holding you, of lips
Caressing, arms held tight, and asking you if you were mine
And the exstacy of love returned when given.

This breath of love feels as though it is the first I drew
The firey bliss of long-starved lungs now filled with life
This is the kiss, in absentia, from my beloved you
This is the the moment, as memory awakes to the scent of desire.
