I wrote an post for another site that is a vanilla one, a friend of the owner is a close friend and asked would I do that for him. It is just in the first write stage and I am sharing it here for feedback and such.



The Life I love is very large with no one being an expert. I can only talk about the way I both see the Life and live it.

The Life isn’t for everyone, but surprisingly it does seem that a very large following both secretly and those who are out in the open about it. I fall into the latter group. It is about, again in my opinion, respect, honor and pride. When I say that I am a Dom it is about who I am, I have this part of me that won’t allow me to be a lesser man. By that I mean I am honest, I respect people till a person proves that they aren’t worth my respect.

I love having a lovely woman restrained, it shows that I have earned her trust since she is at my mercy, and then seeing how much pleasure I can bring her, how often I can make her cum. The heart of it for me is that she knows that I care for her enough that I will not harm her. It is quite a rush, for her she is giving up control and finding freedom in that act.

So many think that a dominant means domineering but it actual is very different. I have to listen to, study, watch and learn so much about her. My focus has to be on her totally since even my type of play can create mental conditions that must be dealt with so that no harm is done to her mentally or physically. It is what most women want to be the center of his attention, knowing that he wants to bring her joy.

There are those in the Life that are there because they either enjoy pain for pain sake, either causing it or experiencing it. I am not one of those, I have learned that something that might appear to be painful can actually add to the pleasure she experiences. I am also not a Doctor so the why of that I can’t answer, I just know what over many years I have learned. The trick is to know the submissive and what she finds exciting, for some it is humiliation, others it is a certain amount of pain, then there are those that don’t want any pain until they are excited and then their body will take pain and feel it as pleasure. The same sensors work for both pain and pleasure. Once you get to the point that the endorphins are flowing a slap on the ass instead of stinging is warm and wonderful.

I speak of looking for my one, when I find her I intend to make her life as full of joy as I can. If she is excited by anything that I can stomach then I will do that for her. I will help her grow into the woman she wants to be, guide her and protect her. That too is not how the uninformed see us, they see the Dom as this do it my way person. Hard and rigid, uncaring and strict but most actual Doms are pretty laid back people the ones that when things are going very badly are cool and in control of themselves.

You are good at explaining this Russel. You write words that shows true feeling behind them and how you feel it should be. It is really good and I do hope that the "nillas" will see it as such aswell and not just freak out.
Some critique if you want it is perhaps that you should check the text again and add those forgotten (,.") signs that would make the text even better.
All of us understand it well but with those in the right places leaves out some of the "wanted" misunderstandings some people want to see. You all know what I mean with that I guess.

Ohhh, I do so like this last set. My last post was directed mostly at the people on collarme, I was asked by a friend to post some there. I now see why, the response was nasty and childish, most placed by wannabees. Sad they seem to believe that a Dom has to be a sadistic control freak to be real. OH well there should be a place for those that feel that way and I will leave their territory to them, it is just a shame that these representatives of our Life are not capable of a discourse with manners.

Lovely Wedjat yes same kind of reaction that OKC had but those I knew the why of, their leader was challenged and offended by a real Dom that called him on his actions but this site claims to be the biggest and best world wide and I find it possibly the biggest by membership but far from the best.

Still not ready to talk about the post before that, since I am still confused and in a state of awe. Just let it say I am amazed at what friends will do to help me, without my ever asking. So much happened in a very short period of time that covered so many different fields and each of their actions went to the heart of my needs, making me wonder if OZ and thrall were correct that my trials of late were to prepare me for an experience that is beyond imagining.
