I don't visit often but the chatroom seems to have a login problem.

You don't get a chance to select a user name anymore. You go in as UnregisteredNNNN...

The only way to get your own id is to logon to the forum first. But ONLY if you:

1) go to the forum by way of the www.bdsmlib.com entrypage,
2) then you must go to the forum and logon
3) then you must backstep your way out of the forum back into the entrypage
4) only then you can select chat

That seems circuitous to me....

I will check it out ---as Tiger just informed me he was upgrading the chat room ---like you I do not go there much

He has since added instructions, none-the-less, there are a lot of steps to go through...

I'd suggest a link directly from the forum so that once you logon, it's just one click to get to the chatroom.

Great Idea now there is a shortcut to the chat room in the community

just look thru a few coke bottles and scroll down to the bottom of the comunity section ---there are two short cuts one to chat one to the academy .

LOL, okay, I see 'em now. I just needed the 3X coke bottles. I would have put them in quicklinks or in a button dedicated to "shortcuts" but hey... that's just me. LOL

the purpose is to get members to browse the forum before they leave --not just the quick log in and leave---is there method to my madness?

Now that you're registered, you need to go to the actual chat room. That's where Curi usually hangs out. You can click into it from the main forums page. Second up from the bottom of the Community sub-section.

Well I found it quite easy to get into the chatroom.

No worries To, and she made it just fine. Had a lot of friends there already. I think it was because of the new 'registration' requirement. You used to just sign in... use any name you wanted each time.
