Two bosses?

Okay, one of the things I like least about my job (and it's a long list!) is that I have two bosses. One of them tells me to make something my top priority, and then the other one tells me something else I have to do ASAP. It's very frustrating.

The problem that I am anticipating is that it looks like this situation may be replicated in my private life. In addition to my Master, I have started hooking up with a lady (with his permission) who is also a Domme. I am slightly concerned that it might not be possible to fill a submissive role with two people concurrently.I have heard of Doms with multiple submissives, but not so much the other way around. Does anyone have experience in that situation? Does it ever work out?

Yep... and treat the two bosses the same way. They both have to acknowledge the others' needs and priorities between them.

If they can't, give them each the amount of time agreed upon and pretend the other doesn't exist for that amount of time... each day... no more and no less. It's their issue. Not yours.

I guess I'd say the DD/s is all of the same issues and solutions... (barring the emotional bonds that could interfere. no comment on those. g*)

It would not work for me - if I submit to someone, he must be a strong personality, and I focus on that.

But if that is not a problem for you, my advice would be that the Doms communicate with each other, and then act accordingly to you - meaning they set the rules and the who-does-what-and-when.
It should not be necessary that you negotiate between them. That is not your part and should not be made your problem.

I can see loaning a slave out to another Dom/me for training that they were better at then me, but an on going sharing I would not allow.

I guess that if she was not someone that was involved with beyond playing then it might be okay but still I doubt it.

They like each other a lot, and they seem to communicate pretty well.

Our friend (let's call her A) came to stay with us (and another friend) for a couple of days over her Christmas break from college. We didn't go, er, all the way, partly because of my period and partly out of respect for our other guest, but there was some fun playing. On the morning of the 24th, D woke me up and whispered in my ear, "I brought you a surprise," and when I looked up there was A in lacy pajamas, climbing into bed with us. I sleep naked, so there was a very pleasant feeling of vulnerability as the two of them uncovered me and started kissing and touching me all over. Definitely one of the best Christmas presents ever.

They have also been planning to go to the local adult toystore together to pick out a present for me. It feels really good to have not one but two really sweet, gentle people want to enjoy me and take care of me.

So, update:

Due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the friend she was planning on staying with for the holidays, our new friend ended up staying with us for several days.

It went really well, actually. All three of us are very fond of each other and the dynamics worked out very naturally. Highlights: At one point D. was disappointed that I hadn't talked about something with her, so he walked me into the bedroom where she was still getting up, bent me over the bed, spanked me, and then left me with her after letting her know where the whip was in case she needed it. Followed by her enthusiastically going down on me.

The bad news is that she has since left the country for a semester abroad, and won't be back until summer. We've been talking to her on skype and webcam, but we all miss each other a lot, especially since it wasn't until she was about to leave that we got together. I know that there isn't really much potential for a long-term thing here (she's still in school and we're probably moving next year), but I'm hoping that over the summer we will get to spend more time together.

A couple of weeks ago D. and I went to visit A. in Europe for a week. We had a lot of fun, and had a hard time actually getting out of the apartment to sightsee.

Random highlights:

Her looking up at the waitress in a Spanish restaurant with candles on the tables and asking if we could have a candle to take home...

The two of them cuffing me to her bed-frame and flogging my thighs...

Her gently holding me while I knelt on the bed and he spanked me hard...

Him asking me to help get her ready for sex while he found a condom. Moving aside to watch him enter where my fingers had just been...

The two of them having a rather amusing argument about what kinds of marks she's allowed to leave on me...

And on a totally different note, the way they both fussed over me and took care of me when I came down with a really bad sinus infection. They really put my needs first and let me have time to rest and recover even though we only had a week together. More than anything else, that made me feel loved and cared for.

Well, I don't want to mention her location or any specifics because I don't want to violate her privacy. She is a young woman living alone in a large city, and she has a substantial online presence, so I wouldn't want to expose her to any unwanted attention.

But yeah, things are great. I can't wait until she comes back to the US.
