How to Tie Him Up???

I was wondering if anyone had any good resources for learning how to tie up my guy? I mean, other than a boy scout's handbook - I don't have a CLUE where to find one. I don't want to end up hurting him by improperly tying him, so I thought I'd ask if anyone else knew.

A search on Japanese rope bondage, Shibari, bondage and any other keywords will give you advice and ideas. Shibari/Japanese rope bondage may be a little advanced at the moment but is something to aspire to.

Not sure it is all that possible to learn anything complicated from an online resource. You may have to have someone show you how to do it.

A tip I learnt many years ago is to make sure you wrap the rope round the part of the body you are tying several times before you tie it off. That way you provide more support and have less chance of cutting off the circulation.

Also, I'd suggest getting proper bondage rope (I think it is made from silk fibres rather than hemp) from somewhere as this is specially made not to burn or rub like hemp or other fibres.

You may also want to look at something like bondage tape - a PVC tape which is stretchy and sticks to itself like cling film. I have found it a lot easier to tie someone up using this than rope.

Finally, it is actually easier to do bondage with leather cuffs so you may want to get your boy a set of ankle and wrist cuffs if you haven't already. You can then link these with chain or rope.

be aware to check his perfusion frequently when yu have him bound,, nawa shibari is perfect for long term rope bondage and has several sites devoted to it as fetishdj mentioned above
its my owners prefered method of binding me,, we use jute and or hemp a lot(need the friction no knots in traditional shibari), and nylon climber's rope, as well as a softer more plyable type of rope i dont know the name of that he gets from home depot for other types of ties.

also be aware pressure points over the bones can rapidly develope into "pressure sores" which are just like a bed sore in the hospital in many ways, i recccomend slow going at first, leather cuffs with some rope, short durations , at least till yu are more comfortable

There are also some "ropetutorials" from Hogtied and Insex. I have some on my harddisk if you are interested
In all these vids the one being tied is however a girl....but that shouldn't be a problem.
