me being of fair skin, I scar easily so even a small cut will leave a scar for a long time. I have a cut which I recieved 16 years ago as well as a scar from falling off a slide over 20 years ago which I can still see to this day.

I love the feel of the knife and permanent damage to me isn't a small scar from a knife. Just my opinion but permanent damage to me would be if I wasn no longer able to do things day to day the way I did prior to the event.
