The voice startles me ,I cant see who it belongs to ,a shiver runs up my spine ,I have been warnded since childhood never to except an
offer for a ride from a stranger
Oh darn a clap of thunder ,the skys open ,the rainours down ,with out an other thought I get quikly into the open door of the car
I am already soaking wet ,the warmth dryness of t.he limo feels so good .The faint click of the door locks does not now bother me
After all car doors lock on there own ,its only later that it dawns on me that the vehcles are moving when the locks engage .
The person in the rear of the luxury automobile remains hidden ,the dark interier making it immposible to make out his features
His voice has a reausuring tone
Its a good thing we happened to be where we where ,it would have been a long wet walk for you ,and tha bus driver ,so inconsiderate of him to leave you ,I must speak to him .
My mind was trying to take it in ,I guess I knew the bus company was privatly owned ,was it this person who owned it ,why else would he have said what he did .
The more I considred what had happened the more puzzled I became ,why on yhis night did the bus leave early ,why when the driver had to have seen me running ,waving my arms did he pull away .I grew worried ,
Please stop ,I'll walk from here ,it not far ,thank you for the ride .No reponce ,the car sped through the night heading toward the out skirts of town ,away from the university .
Please ,my voice quaking ,please let me out as we entered through gates that had swing open continuing on a long drive way ,the lights of
A house visible through the trees
