The plane made a rapid descent into the airport and made a smooth landing, rolled to s stop on the ramp and the door opened. The car, waiting on them, was attended by the driver and Tom. He was tall, slim and athletic, with blonde hair cropped very short. He was dressed immaculately. Steve had always looked just a little disheveled. Tom on the other hand looked as if he had just stepped off the page of a men's fashion magazine.

Stephen introduced the women. Tom, looked both of them up and down appreciately. It was obvious that he was well versed in the role of men and women in this household, but Abby didn't get the bad vibe from him that she has always gotten from Steve. Maybe this was going to be an improvement.
