Another thought is to try a "Backup" instead of a "Copy" All Window OS come with some version of backup. A backup of music will not play on your CD player but it may allow you t make more room on your computer and then selectively restore files as you have the space to do your copying. More trouble but it should allow you to make room on your hard drive as Rabbit suggests may be your problem in the first place. Just get into the Help file and type "backup" to see how your version of Windows handles it.

Once you have a valid backup you can delete the files you just backed up to make room on your hard drive. After you get everything backed up and deleted then restore them one at a time to try to copy them as you originally wanted. If you can then copy them, after the copy is completed delete them again to make space available for you next files you want to copy to disk.

It's a lot more work but may be a viable solution to your problem if it is, in fact, disk space limiting your ability to copy correctly.
