to the forums, rora...I hope you'll soon feel comfortable and safe enough to start joining the discussions and the fun here. It's a great place and very welcoming...and a lot more fun if you take the plunge and jump right in. Whenever you're ready...

Jaeger - hell yeah, I understand how this can be a little intimidating. When I came here, all I did was play games for a bit, read the threads and never felt I could get a foot in the door - everybody seemed to know each other! I probably would have stayed lurking for longer, but someone asked me to be a mod, lol. I *had* to become more active then. And you know what? After I started posting to some of the threads, the rest came naturally...

Being a little shy, it took me a while to come out of my shell, and what helped me at the time were the warm and friendly reactions of the regulars here. I was a complete newbie (and not only to the forums, lol) but never felt that anyone was looking down on me. That's what made it so easy to open up.

Is there anything that would have helped you to feel more comfortable with joining in the discussions? I love to meet new people here and if there's anything I could do personally to make it easier for someone starting out as a forum member, I'd love to hear it.
