*Helps himself to some of Maddies lovely cookies and a cuppa.*
This is one of the few forums I have been involved with, where you can post an opinion and not get flamed out of existance.
The people are friendly and always have good advice. The story page is only a click away and the encouragement when you actually write a story from those that bother to read them is worth its weight in gold.
The instructors in writers block are excellent. *winks at Ruby*
I have also had the joy of making some very good online friends here, although I would like to get to know some of you better.
I understand Jaeger's comments and even after 400 or so posts I feel like a newbie trying to fit in. But if you never try, it will never happen. The fate of the free world does not hang on whether I get a favourable repy to a post, though at times it does feel like it. Lol.
It is always difficult without the benefit of body language or facial expressions to interpret what people are thinking when they post and I've had the odd experience that left me feeling, not so good. It is important therefore, to temper all your online activities with commonsense and not take things to heart. Life will always go on outside these forums.
