A good, well trained subbie would not need to be held down if she wanted to please her Dominant. But of course, that would be after literally years of training and trust to be gained from both Dominant and submissive.

Some find being branded a mark of love, trust and obedience, to feel the aura of their Dom with them at all times. Same way a collar works, only perminant.
