Daylight Savings Time

My computer's time is correct. The only thing that's wrong are the timestamps on the posts and PMs. I'm usually on around midnight, and it's a little confusing when it's 12:45am and the time stamps are telling me that 5am posts are from today.

Perhaps I'm missing something. What do you mean by "updated"? My computer automatically updates its own date and time, but it doesn't have any influence over the site's.

Go to your user cp and check your user options. There's a section for time and date options. Make sure your time zone setting is correct and also make sure the option to automatically detect DST settings is correct, too.

I hate daylight savings! I have to go and learn all new timezone conversions...
My timestamps are all good at the moment though, it's only out by a few minutes compared to my own clock.
Interesting question for Jinn... does SQL store dates wth daylight savings, or without and let the accessing software convert? I would have thought that when the time changed, you could lose data integrity by having two times the same. (Sorry, I'm doing SQL at the moment at Uni Learning all about this stuff.)
