    Open up a Firefox window then click on "Tools" and then "Clear Private Data". make sure every box is ticked then click "Clear Private Data Now" and see if that helps.

    I have found that doesn't always work in XP but using the Task Manager usually works like a charm if you know what program or process to look for and tell it to end. I really have no idea why (control-alt-delete) doesn't work when it should.
