Hi, I'm posting. I don't usually mind posting as a new member, in fact I love any and all attention I can get, but this is the first time I've used this type of forum. I had quite a time doing all the normal first rites of joining a group. Having my own avatar is kinda kewl. I may have one & I may not. I kept getting messages telling me there had been an error. I attempted to fill out a profile and add a pic -- not sure if that worked out either.

I do have a question. I enjoy chatrooms sometimes -- sometimes I don't -- you know how it is. There weren't very many ppl chatting the last time I was here. Is there a particular time when more ppl are online or chatting than other times?

It's been so hard to find groups surrounding my interests and curiosities. I enjoy writing erotica and I'm very curious about D/s & bdsm. I've already gleaned some interesting things to read and would love to get to know some, any, or all of you. Although I'm in my 40s, I'm recently divorced from a man who was very controlling. Many things most women my age are familiar with, I know nothing about.

So my main purpose and need for being here is to learn about myself, other people, and to understand some things I've always had such a narrow view of.
