A rant

I have been fortunate enough to love my slave, and care deeply for each of the subs that have been in my life. I know that I am not an easy person to be with but then again who is. The Dom inside me has all ways caused me to take the honorable path even when it was a hard path. Each of these ladies offered to me a part of their lives, which I will cherish always.

Each one had different needs and I can honestly say I did my best to meet them in a manner that allowed her to grow. I find today that so many online Doms don’t really seem to get that, they feel that they are the one that counts. Each person be they Dominant or submissive should feel that their counter part gives them a piece of themselves that they have been missing thus completing that person. This also creates a stronger whole then it’s separate parts.

To that end I have learned that spending significant time learning each other and entering into formal negotiations before service is offered or accepted is critical. Online it may not seem so important that the Dom knows her hard limits but I think it is. Each of you should know the others hard limits otherwise you risk disrespecting one another by a fantasy that the other is only offended by. In real life it is much more critical. If either has a hard limit that is the others passion it may well be a deal breaker.

I will give 2 personal examples of this.

First, it should come as no surprise to anyone that I love having a lovely over my knee for spanking. I have quite a few different techniques and styles of spanking that I do, and am always thinking about new ones or ways to change the experience. I once had a sub that could not bring herself to go over my knee willingly and I would not force her too. She had told me about how her step father would spank her till she could not stand. This made it impossible for her to be over my knee. I in my youth foolishly accepted her service thinking that after a time I would be able to ease her in to accepting a loving pleasure spanking. I was very wrong, also wrong to even consider attempting that. It wasn’t long before we went separate ways since she could not fill my need. Understand that she did nothing wrong, I was the villain in this. She would do anything that I asked other then that, so I hurt her and wronged her by first accepting her and second by releasing her.

Second, this is almost the reverse of the first. I had a slave that I had told up front that I would not use a whip on her, I had been whipped by my Mother, still have the scars so I just can’t bring myself to do that. She loved me and wanted to be mine so thought that she could do without being whipped with single tail, etc. She loved the harsh marks the actual cut of the whip so that she would bleed off and on for several days after the whipping. She loved the feel of pain when she would sit down causing her to go back to her version of sub space. We seemed to be doing quite well but she had to ask for release since her need could not be met because of my hard limit.

I have been told I am to soft to be a real Dom but I doubt that any of my subs would agree. Yes I am all ways concerned with their well-being and safety. To hurt a sub because you can and she can’t defend herself isn’t my idea of a Dom. Think safety first always, if your sub is nothing to you, remember she is special to someone.
