I'm happy to add my addition to the long list of introductions. I've been reading the stories here for a couple of years though this is my first foray into the forums here. I'm currently attached to a wonderful submissive woman that makes my heart and soul sing. Unfortunately, while we're both on the east coast of the US, there's 1000miles between us at the moment. But (longing sigh) our reunion isn't too far off.

I was introduced to BDSM in the form of japanese rope bondage while I was living in Kamakura, Japan in the mid 90's. With the quiet, subtle and patient determination the Japanese are known for, my girlfriend there thoroughly hooked me on lifestyle. I've been traveling this road ever since.

Recently I've picked up a hobby in leathercraft. I've been turning out collars, cuffs, whips, paddles and floggers at a speed that would make Henry Ford proud My goal is to have my entire collection forged and tooled by my own hands. I think there's just more character to a piece thats been sized, styled, and crafted just for you and your play partner(s).

I also enjoy discussing, debating, sharing, etc, the ideals of the art, not just the technique and tools. Anyone can swing and paddle and make it hurt. I like to talk about why swinging it is so much fun, and why the hurt feels sooo good
