well my ears were done the first time when i was about 3 or 4,the second set i got myself when i was 19 on the way home from swimming with my sister, we decided that i had mine done on the bus ride. i have to say even though i paid for them they were done badly. first they pushed the butterfly back of the earings i wore into my ear which caused so much scarring that you can't even find my first set from the back anymore and gave me my first infected ears. the healing of thos two new wounds on each ear took months and the slightest touch made them bleed. i suppose any spectator would have though someone stabbed me. they are fine now although i still get the odd infection and the new set keeps closing as soon as i take my jewellery out for one day. master already proposed to redo them with a big needle. guess that is the sadist in him....
