I was in touch with one of the moderators about a week ago on this subject and came away with the feeling that no one knows for sure when the Rabbit is returning, or why he isn't here. You talk about your single point failure, this is classic! Can you imagine trying to deal with two weeks or more worth of postings, from authors who naively believed there was someone there to take care of this little detail.

In a perfect world Rabbit would be here 24/7 to take care of everything, including the story updates...but the fact is, this isn't a perfect world. And real life has been known to intrude every now and then. This is a free site, and Rabbit1 is not getting paid for all of the work he does here. He volunteers...just like the rest of the staff. As much as we all love this site and want to be here to help take care of it, we all have jobs, families, etc...that need our attention as well.

No, I do not know where Rabbit1 is or how long he will be gone, but I know he will take care of things when he gets back. And I also know there has to be a pretty damn good reason why he hasn't been able to be here. I don't know about you, but at this point I am just hoping that it is not something unfortunate or painful in his r/l that he is having to deal with right now. I hope he is well and that we will see him again soon.

Yes, it is a pain in the ass that the stories aren't getting updated, but it's not the end of the world. I understand the frustration on your end, but there is also frustration on this end because the staff is trying their hardest here.

I feel like a broken record here, but if everyone could just please be patient, things will sort out soon enough.
