Because I'm always very outspoken in academic/political arenas (which is where I spend almost all of my time) and have somewhat of a forceful personality, I want to be with someone who, as my dom, will help/encourage/allow me to and/or free me from that part of myself. I feel that by giving my obedience both physically and upon request/demand mentally, I'm sharing parts of my soul that are tightly guarded from even close friends.

I also tend to talk/type a bit too formally when I'm nervous
