Your Excellency, please forgive this churlish inquiry, but wasn't there another series of "Lord Mobius' Dungeon" a few weeks (months?) ago? There was an intriguing illustration, probably by Roberts, that I was thinking of using as a model for a torment in one of the upcoming chapters of the Jade Pavilion. But I can't find the thread, now, thanks to our fast-shuffling, Three-Card Monty-dealing moderators. :-)

Can anyone help me? Is the original Lord Mobius Dungeon thread still in existence? Or am I imagining all this?

The original thread was decapitated and relocated to an area which pleased the powers-that-be. Sadly, after the move it seems all the original materials were lost. Mobius might be able to assist with relocating the art.

Her face streaked with tears she watched as the big man left.

A cool gush of air as he closes the door serves to bring home the extent of her exposer. Sniffing back the few remaining tears her mind slowly coming around to what had just happened. Body throbbing she tests the bindings finding that she couldn't move a muscle.

Glaring at the door . . .she had entertained thoughts of how much fun it would be to flirt with the big man . .. Sir. . .if she got the job, but if he thought she was going to flirt with him now, well he could just forget about it. Somehow managing to blightly ignoring her present situation.

Squirming she moans as it increases the throbbing. Another thing to direct her anger at. Not only had her body betrayed the pleasure she received but that big oaf knew it also.

Giving up on trying to get free of the ties she ponders her present predicament. Hm, only one solution for now. . .bide her time and bite her sharp tongue if possible. He mentioned rules. . .what did he say. Chewing on her lower lip in thought she finally shook her head in frustration. Her mind had been in to much chaos to process the information. Oh well, it couldn't have been to important.

Hearing the door open she turns her head. A man as imposing as the structure itself steps into the room. Must be the Lord guy the big oaf mentioned. Eyes wide she watches as he goes over to the other woman.

Just so you know, I gave Mobius the choice of what to do with his thread. I told him that if he wanted me to move it and leave all the old posts, I could do that. Or if he'd rather make a fresh start of it, he could do that, too.

It was he that asked me to delete the old thread in favor of starting a new thread with better structure (his words [mostly], not mine). So, if you have a problem with the removal of the original thread, take it up with the thread's creator and not me.

Sorry about the crankiness yesterday. If I had made the proper detailed notes when I first saw the pieces of art that interested me ... but, alas, I didn't. I assumed that they would always be there ...

I still don't quite understand, though. Why did his Lordship have to move the thread or alter it at all? He had obtained permission to use the Roberts art, didn't he? Or was their some other issue?

Hi Boccaccio,

You may be best going and having a look at the new guidelines for posting pictures (i won't be all moderator-ish and have the nerve to direct you to them ), whilst these don't directly and exclusively pertain to THIS thread, it will perhaps clear up your abject confusion, by telling the whole 'change in posting pictures' story from the very beginning. The process was then, you see, a sequential one...based on the new guidelines, and on the advent of the new forum, dedicated to pictures (i.e. where, you will notice, this very thread is now located), Mobius expressed interest in relocating his thread and starting again....et voila! So, alas, no one forced his arm up his back in a dark back alley, or threatened to blow up his bus if he didn't move it.....

Hope this clears things up.
