I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself, seeing as how I'm a new member and all. Anyway, my name is jem; I'm a 23 year old female submissive. I'm very inexperienced with submission and have found someone who seems to be a stellar online Dom, but I'm still looking for real time as well.

Believe it or not, I'm actually still a virgin - I'm trying to retain my virginity to give to whichever Master or Mistress that I choose to develop a long-standing, long-lasting relationship in. I'm currently a student in my fourth year at University, doing a double major/combined honours degree in English and Media Studies. I'll likely be going to teachers' college once I'm done this degree (one more year!). I'm also a freelance web developer, which is how I work my way through school - only one smallish loan so far to my name, which will be nice when I finally get a "real" job. *grin*

I'm from Toronto, Ontario, Canada (well, just outside of there, actually) but have travelled quite a bit in my 23 years of life - I have also lived in Belgium, France, and Costa Rica for extended periods of time. I love travelling -- there's nothing much better than travelling save for playing/bdsm.

Other than sex and travelling, I also love crafts (I cross stitch!), films (I'm a huge film geek), watching television, listening to music, playing with my three cats, trying to stay caught up at school, and other fairly normal things.
