Hiya all,
This a somewhat belated hallo, as I registered back last october, and have contributed to a few threads since; not always wisely but I hope I am learning.

Being somehat older than a lot of the users of this forum, it might be thought that I am , to quote a government statistical report " broken down by age and sex"; I am however glad to report that this is not yet the case, though not for the want of trying! I think the fact that I have retained all of the 'satiable curtiosity' of Rudyard Kiplings 'elephant child' from childhood, bids fair that I shall attain my second childhood without ever having left my first; at least I hope so!

I have strong sadistic leanings, when my loins are stirred, but otherwsise have always been kind hearted and caring, in my mainly vanilla life. Fortunately I have had the enormous good fortune of meeting and knowing a lady( my TOSCA) who knows loves, and shares, in all my enthusiasms, including BDSM, even though as she half jokingly says "Everything you enjoy you do to excess, and since you ONLY do what you enjoy doing, you do everything to excess".

My own moto for living :-
There are some things in life that are far TOO important to take seriously.
perhaps supplemented by a definition I came up with for psychiatry, but feel applies equally to life itself, namely they are all about " groping in a fog confidentally"
