Probably not the right forum for this but I need to rant.

I just drove 2,100 miles to be with morgan and left a well paying job where I was my own boss 99% of the time. Looking for gainful employment here and a recruiter called me to set an apointment for tomorrow asked if I am employed and I responded that I am on a extended leave of absense with an open invitation to come back for them.

morgan decided that meant I was thinking of going back home instead of impressing the recruiter with the value my old employer placed on me.

How do I deal with such flights of illogic?
