Jaden dreamed in broken bits and pieces, his subconscious mind flipping in and out of fantasies and nightmares alike.

He walked alone in a dark corridor, naked, wearing only his collar, without his tag. A maze-like combination with hallways every few yards, he wasn't sure where he was going. Jaden looked behind himself. There was nothing but a dim hallway behind him, exactly the same as the hallway in front of him. He walked a few steps further, then turned off into one of the hallways on his right, just to see what was there. At the end of the hall was a door, which he tentatively pushed open, eyes straining to see into the darkness. Something reached out of the darkness, reaching for him, a claw-like hand. A voice spoke in his mind, a creaky, cracked voice, "You are mine." Jaden jerked back from the hand, but not fast enough. The claw closed down on his wrist and was pulling him into the dark room of unknowns. The nightmare faded.

Jaden stood, chained in Master Yuri's room again, except he was alone. He was blindfolded, but somehow, he could feel that the other slaves weren't there, Mistress Ruby and Master Yuri weren't there, and the only thing that existed was the stone wall that was cold behind his back. He could feel the plush carpet beneath his feet, and he moved, jangling the chains. The creak of a door brought him to alertness, and he stood still, listening to whoever it was who opened the door. Jaden felt only a slight breeze, then a rough finger brushed across his cheek and a hot breath fluttered over his neck. Master Yuri's voice came, asking "Would you like to see, boy?" His free hand drifted down to Jaden's groin, stroking him gently while his other hand reached up to touch the blindfold. Jaden wanted to say yes, but as soon as he opened his mouth to reply, the world dissolved.

He crouched inside a small cage, barely big enough to fit him. Jaden looked around wildly, using what little movement he could manage, and he couldn't see a door to the cage. He panicked then, raising his handcuffed hands to hit the cage walls. He tried for a long time, noone coming to his rescue. The only thing he managed was to bruise and scrape his hands. Jaden sank to the floor of his cage in defeat, and sank through the floor of the cage.

The sensation of falling was inexplicably pleasant. As if he were drifting on a fluffy cloud and cooling rains were pouring out of the heavens above him to douse the fire in his back. A feathery touch of a hand caused him to turn around painfully, but he saw noone there. The invisible hand gently pressed him back down onto his stomach, and spread and massaged the cooling substance into his back. A dark spot on the horizon appeared and slowly grew to engulf his vision.

A hand, a real one this time, shook Jaden into wakefulness...
