Ruby seeks Alura

A knock on the door and Jade answered, "Come in, Ruby."

Ruby shook her head laughing. "Guess, I'll never be able to sneak up on you, eh, Jade?"

Jade smiled and winked. "Guess not?"

"So, are you two ready for the trip? And have you seen my friend Alura?"

"Alura..." Jade mused. "So that's her name. Is she coming with us?"

"I'm not sure," answered Ruby. "I left her in the library and now she's not in this dimension. I'm sure that alien is giving her a run for her money. She chose a purple collar."

"Good taste," complimented Jade. "Let me see if she can hear my thoughts."

"Would you please?"

Jade concentrated and found Alura wandering through a maze in Adlick's private center of the galaxy. "Alura, want to come cruising with us or are you going to wait till the alien returns you to Lord Mobius?"
