Thanks everyone for the kind words of welcome...I can't say I mind learning things the hard way.

As for stories, what I've sent off can't be described as complete, or even coherant; there's a character I abandon after only a paragraph, and an ending that isn't one by definition. Still, I enjoyed writing it. ;p
